Aloha! It’s been awhile, amirite?! I thought I would take some time to share a couple of exciting updates.
First and foremost, while I’ve been pretty quiet these past two months on the website, I promise I’ve been creating some really great new pieces, some of which you can check out here. I’ve been diving back into portraitures in a more purposeful way and finding out how I can incorporate my love of abstracts as well. I’m so excited by the growth and development in this area because it only means more quality pieces to show all of you!
Secondly (and this is the biggie!), I’ve made the decision to close down the “boutique” side of my business. While I was excited to launch this aspect of my business back in October/November, I’ve realized that I really want this site to be about my art, especially as I start to submit to art shows and make a little bit of a name for myself.
Finally, as I just mentioned I have been submitting to various art shows, which I mentioned in a January post, and have generally moving to get my art out into the world in other ways. I currently have the piece “When the Mask Falls Off” showing at the Figuratively Speaking show at the Art Association of Harrisburg, which runs from Feb 26-April 1st. Please check it out if you are looking for a chill weekend activity and don’t forget your mask!
This news also means that I will giving my website a new ~lewk~ in the next month or so, and I’ll be really excited to re-launch it. In the meantime, if you don’t already follow me on Instagram or Facebook, please do so! I’m most active on IG and tend to post all of my sketch paintings and activity there the most.
In the meantime, thank you so much for your support over this past year (less than!) and stay tuned for some more work and announcements in the coming weeks!
